Garrison. The place was developed as an important administrative
point for the whole Kangra valley. Today the place has
developed as headquarters of the exiled Tibetan Government.
The impressive monastery has larger than life size images
of Buddha, Padmasambhava and Avaloketeshwara. Late evening

After breakfast. Leave for Manali -the most sought
after Destination of Kulu Valley. Also referred to as
the "valley of the Gods", Manali is an
important hill station of northern India and is the destination
of thousands of tourists every year. Tours in Manali provide
cool atmosphere for the ones afflicted by the hot Indian
summers. Besides offering quite a few places for sightseeing,
Manali is also an ideal place for the ones in search of
both comfort and also for adventure sports like skiing,
hiking, mountaineering, paragliding, rafting, trekking,

Vashishtha Baths-The hot water spring of Vashishtha
is famous for its medicinal power and a must visit site
during vacations in Manali. A large number of people throng
here for a bath as the water of the spring is believed
to cure several diseases. There is a pyramidal stone temple
nearby, which is dedicated to Vashishta Muni.
Hadimba Devi Temple-The Hadimba Devi temple is
an important place to visit for tourists on vacation in
Manali. The temple is dedicated to the goddess-turned-demoness
Hadimba (or Hirimba), the wife of Bhima. Built in the
1553, this temple is locally known as Doongri Mata temple.

After breakfast drive to Jispa. Reach Keylong the head
district in this area and we will stop here for one hour
to visit around the local Bazar. Continue your journey

| After breakfast
drive to Sarchu: the border line between Jammu
n Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. On the way visit Baralachala
pass 4883 Mtrs. here on the top there is a lake known
as Surajtal and we will meet first village at Darcha
after Rumtze. One may visit to Dalai Lama monastery which
has been recently built during the Kalachakra Programme.
Arrive Sarchu tonight our camp will be at 4200 Mtrs. and
it will be the coldest night during the whole tour. Overnight
in Tents. |

day drive to Leh via Upshi . Drive to Lachungla
pass 5065 Mtrs rugged in the middle of the mountains,
At Pang we stop for lunch. Continue and we have to cross
second highest motorable pass in world (Tanglangla Pass
5350 Mtrs.) Enjoy the nature beauty of the mountains continue
drive through Moreplans there are chance to see tiny colonies
of Marmots, Yaks & Herbs. Reach Leh.
